My husband Jim (Mr LL) passed away on 11th April, 2011, 83 years of age, six weeks after being diagnosed with lung cancer spread to the liver - non-operable, untreatable and terminal within months. He was a lovely gentle man whom I nursed at home, with the wonderful help provided by the Community Palliative Care Team until the day before he died.
I will miss him for the rest of my life.
R.I.P. my lovely husband, Jim

Hi Norma,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about the news of Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I remember meeting Jim for the first time. He was the distinguished gentleman at the Fitzroy Falls Marathon in 2005 who came to support you and meet a few Cool Runners.
I am sure the locals he played piano for on a regular basis on the Southern Highlands will miss him as well.
cheers Plu
Sorry to hear this news, it's so sad to lose your beloved.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing OK LL. Just read about your husband and thought I'd add my support.
ReplyDeleteYou must miss him dearly but you were able to share a life together, that is really something!
The problem with loving people is it can't last, but the alternative is far worse.
My thoughts are with you.
Thanks you so much for your kind comments and thoughts.
