At Chev track this morning; hot and windy but got through the session OK.

A few drills & strides
3 x 1600m repeats @ 5:58 to 5:55 per km.
Between each repeat I walked 100m, jogged 200m, walked 100m. I didn't get to the oval until nearly mid-day so it was very hot and the 1600's were NOT easy. I had Virtual Partner set to run at 5:55 min/km.
1st 1600m in 9:28 (5:55 pace). AHR 80%; MHR 85%.
2nd 1600m in 9:24 (5:52 pace). AHR 82%; MHR 88%.
3rd 1600m in 9:23 (5:51 pace). AHR 84%; MHR 91%.
I finished ahead of Virtual Partner each time!
Haveb't used my forerunner for ages, but put it on the charger two days ago, and within a minute or so, it showed the message that it was fully charged.

Virtual partner is also keeping you company, and good for your training.
The Virtual partner is like a real life nintendo game. The little man is out to get us!
