Keep the memories coming LL. They are great reading.
Sorry to not catch up with you at the Gold Coast. Your running experience sounds amazing and I am in awe of every run that you complete - I am yet to build the courage to do ONE marathon. Let alone to come back and do another....
Hope you are having some time off now and enjoying that wonderful husband of yours.
Glad to hear you're back home safe and sound. Sounds like it was a hard day on the road at the GC but you made it through. Hope your legs are recovered and be nice to yourself for a few weeks before getting back into it too hard!
I must apologise firstly for not reading your blog earlier but what a great read re the GC marathon! Congratulations on another great result.
I did read on CR about the cheersquad, but it was nice to get your perspective. I admire your ability to express gratitude and be humble about it at the same time.
Enjoy a short break & I hope to finally meet you at Sydney Marathon if you are running any of those events.
Arn't we lucky to be blessed with wonderful hubbies!!

See you on the road. :)
I've checked your blog so many times since GC waiting waiting for an update :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to finally read about your race. Congrats on completing another marathon after your setback at Canberra.
