No running today; might do a spin class this evening, but depends on how keen I am by 6:30 pm. Beauty of a day to be out running though......or just being alive!
On those rest days it is good to contemplate. So I've been contemplating what are those flowers to your right in your profile photo? Are they dutch iris or some sort of bulb?
Wow, They are the biggest grape hyacinths I've ever seen. The ones I have grown are only 5-6cm long when in flower. I used to grow 5 or 6 together in a 500 ml yoghurt container.
Whowould of thought a rest day blog would attract so many comments? Thanks for the advice LL - with hindsight, I should have rested also.
