Managed to do the session in between showers - perfect for track work.
10 minutes jogging warm-up; stretches & strides.
2 Sets of 100m, 200m, 300m, 200m, 100m.
2:45mins. recoveries & 5mins. between sets.
Set 1 = 29.7; 1:01.6; 1:34.9; 1:01.1; 29.2
Set 2 = 28.7; 1:01.7; 1:34.3; 59.2; 26.2
Warm-down, etc.
I think Ewen would be satisfied with Chickybabe's effort!!
You sure picked up some time in the second set LL. The track looks a great spot for training. Send some of those showers up here would you please.
ReplyDeleteRe the PB at the Gold Coast. I am certainly visualisng one. I have to chop 6 secs per k off my Canberra average of 4:46 to do it though. My Half time on Sunday indicates that I just might be able to do it.
Ah, so that's the Chev track - I've always wondered what it looked like.

Great stuff LL, very nice and even reps and very satisfying to do the second set slightly quicker.
