Just OK.....

Program : 1 to 1.5 hours lower aerobic running.

Results :
Time on feet = 63 minutes
Distance = 8km

I forgot the heart rate monitor strap so I ran by effort instead. I was going really well until my right hip began to give me grief on the way back & I had to walk all of the last kilometer. A real pain this is & just when I've invested in a wardrobe of running skirts for the 2009 scene!!

  1. Skirts are definitely 'in'! There must've been at least 10 girls, maybe more, wearing them at PCRG this morn.

  2. Oh, and I wore the one I bought at the Melb Marathon Expo for the first time ... luv it!

  3. I had a lot of hip issues in Jan/Feb this year, so I understand your pain. I actually got to the stage where I couldn't lift my right foot higher than a few cm.

    Steer clear of those hills and make sure you stay on nice flats roads/trails etc, flat meaning no rises and nice and even with no lateral inclines.

    All the best

    Stu Mac

  4. I hope it's improving for the weekend LLs. Stick to the distances you can run up until it starts to hurt...

    Otherwise, you'll have to use the skirts for "raves" and such!
