Day 13 - Rest Day....2nd Series.

Another day & no running yet; still have some stiff & slightly sore leg muscles as a result, I think, of all that speeding down Hunter Street on Sunday! Felt fantastic at the time though!

Walked back from town after putting the car in for registration check; walked back to pick up later...about 25 minutes each way.

Took the doggies for a loooong ramble in the paddocks....cold & windy but better than yesterday.

Did the Pilates DVD.....and that's about it for today!

Age Category results out : 1st in 70+ category &, as usual, the oldest female to finish!
That tag always makes me feel a bit sad...I think I don't like to be reminded!!

    Hmmm...I'm thinking they only gave you the 'oldest female' label because they haven't yet created a 'fiestiest, stubbornnest or downright pluckiest" category.

    LL at least you don't have Ron Daly's category. Oldest male to finish at 81 and he gets put in a 70+ male category. Can't they make an 80+? At least he still got a medal for third.
    Terrific effort in the race on sunday. Champion!

    Gee, I would be soooooo proud of that tag LL. Just think, every single one of the girls behind you was younger. As were many of the guys.

    And besides, who else have all your CR friends got to brag about!
